Security Enhancements to Kenn-e-banking

Enrollment Instructions:

To improve security and protect your personal information, we have added a new Multifactor Authentication Process designed to keep your personal information as secure as possible.

It will take less than 3 minutes for you to set up this additional security:

  1. Enter your present Access ID on the home page “Log in” box and click “Go”.

  2. On the next screen, enter your password and click “Submit”.

  3. The 3rd screen is where you will set your Personal Security Data – information only you will know:
     
    a.) First, please supply all the information requested, including your e-mail address.
    b.) Next, an image will be pre-selected for your enrollment (you may change it later).
    c.) Type in a phrase about the image that is meaningful and distinctive.
    d.) Choose three (3) challenge questions from the drop-down menus and type in your personal answers to all three (3) questions.
     
    Select One of the Following Options:

    1.) This is a Personal Computer. Register It. 
    This should only be used when you are using your primary or secondary trusted computer. Once the computer is “registered” it will not be “challenged”.

    2.) This is a Public Computer. Do Not Register It.  The program defaults to this as a security measure and should only be changed if you are on a personal and trusted computer.
     
    Click “Submit”.

That’s it --you’re enrolled!  Next time you log on you will need to remember your Access ID, Password, and the caption you chose.  If you ever don’t see the proper image and your personal caption, you may be at a false website. Do not enter your password. Contact us.
 
The next time you access Kenn-e-banking, simply:

  1. Enter your Access ID on the home page Log in box and click “Go”.

  2. On the second screen, make sure that the image and your chosen phrase or caption are correct and then enter your password and click “Submit”. As long as you are on a computer you registered, you won’t be asked any challenge questions. If you are on a public or new personal computer, you’ll be asked one of your challenge questions and asked if you want to register that computer.
